A Country Club/Bar anyone?

OMG, I would have never thought country dancing would be so fun! So my friend Naomi is a big fan of everything country and really wanted to go to this country club/bar place in fremont called the Saddle Rack. I was a little hesitant at first I have to admit, but goodness it was crazy fun! Everyone dances with everyone, and if you haven't tried country line dancing, jeeebus, you have to try it! it is the most fun dance ever and it's real easy to learn, cuz once u go over the sequence a few times, u just repeat over and over til the song is done, and it's all just foot work really... anyways, we learned one line dance called Copperhead Row? it goes with a song by that name, and believe me, you'd be feeling so cool that you got the sequence down and dancing wit everyone all together in lines, whoooo! but don't think the place only place country music, they had a live band that would play and the lead singer lady is sooo cool! she sang songs from norah jones, bobby brown, pink! oh and she sang "Footloose" u ppl kno that movie? but yeah, real crazy cool experience, I definitely would recommend trying it. I hear there's another country bar in San Jose..... =P Naomi took some pics, I'll try to post them up soon as I can get some from her.... oh! and there was the mechanical bull! guess who rode it? no, not me.....

Knitting the stress away

So I've got a midterm coming up and all I can think about is knitting up a new wristband... Or maybe a cute pair of leg warmers... yeah... maybe I just want it all to go away.... I had first started knitting my senior year of high school, after learning how to crochet the year before. I always like to make things, and eventually it led to knitting/crocheting, and I found it to be really stress relieving. So I guess now everytime I get stressed, my mind already starts to wonder off to knitting.....

My Kitty Hat

I made this Kitty hat awhile back, actually before I got the Stitch 'n Bitch book, I found the pattern online, at http://www.kittyville.com which happens to be the same place that the pattern in the book is from (what a "coinky-dink"!)
Anyways, I'm very proud of my kitty hat, even thought it's a little longer than I expected, I still wear it proudly (whenever it's cold). Here it's being modeled by my roomie, Kat (how appropriate rite?) showing it with the flaps and pom-poms down (top one), and with them tied up on top (lower one).... I kno, my cheap-o digi-cam isn't very clear, swear I'll get a real digi-cam soon! Posted by Hello

Here's the place

okie, so I finally start my own blog, and yeah, guess what it's about.... KNITTING! (and some crochet) since I seem to give away more of the things I make than keep, I decided to start this blog so I could at least post up pics of my babies and show them off before they go to their new home.... So here it is, the place where I "Stitch 'N Bitch"!
Oh! and since I didn't really get a pic of any of my previous creations, if anyone who has something I made would like to send me a pic of it being loved, please do!
