Weekend Rent-a-Movie....

So I figured it mite be fun to do reviews on the latest movies I saw, since I'm a pretty avid movie-goer and renter... This weekend, I've rented: Tokyo Godfathers, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, and a classic, The Princess Bride....

Tokyo Godfathers is about 3 homeless people, a middle-aged man, a drag-queen, and a runaway teenager, who find an abandoned baby as they were digging in garbage, and as they try to track down the baby's mother to confront her, they bump into parts of their past that they had tried to leave behind... yes, it is an animated movie, but it is quite a heart-felt movie regardless and it'd be unfair to judge it as "just another anime" for it does have a good story... with hilarious by-chance happenings and an interesting twist towards the end... just full of surprises that'll leave you giggling and startled all at once...

Many of you have probably seen Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, but for those who haven't and are not familiar with the whole Charlie's Angels sequels, here's a quick run through, Full Throttle is the second of now a 2 part sequel about 3 women who work as "private investigators", though they do much more than just "investigate", both movies (the 1st being just Charlie's Angels) are quite action-packed, much recommended for anyone into watching hot girls kick some ass. Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Lui make a great team of beautiful super agents out to get the bad guys...

As for The Princess Bride, which, yes, I haven't seen before, though I assume most of you have for I hear about it from everyone all the time... It's actually a better movie than I expected, pretty funny indeed, as the main protagonist guy in the movie is the same guy who played Robin Hood in Robin Hood: Men in Tights... although this movie came before that one and the guy is a bit younger, but quite handsome!=P All in all, its sounds a bit corny when u read the summary in the back, but when you watch it, you realize it's supposed to be corny and that's why it's so funny!

Oh! and I hope to watch Spiderman 2 sometime next week, so stay tuned for that review!
